Trash & Recycling

Dublin Borough provides contracted trash and recycling collection services for residential properties within the Borough. Through this contracted service, residents receive curbside collection while the Borough works to ensure efficient and cost-effective waste management services for the community.

Trash collection services are available for residential properties only. Commercial properties are responsible for arranging their own private trash hauling services with a licensed waste hauler.

Residents should follow the collection schedule and guidelines provided below. Questions regarding collection schedules, missed pickups, or service concerns should be directed to Whitetail Disposal/Casella.

Trash/Recycling Pick Up Schedule:
Wednesdays.

Bulk Pick Up
Last Wednesday of the Month.

Yard Waste
Last Saturday of the Month.
*The schedule is subject to change due to holidays and inclement weather.

Please ensure your toters are not out for pickup until 24 hours prior and are removed within 24 hours after being emptied.

Bucks County Hazardous Waste
Household products containing toxic chemicals, like pesticides, oil-based paints, solvents, cleaning products, weed killers and automotive batteries can be a threat to people and the environment if improperly discarded. Never throw these materials into the trash, as the toxic chemicals may harm sanitation workers, or result in fires in collection vehicles. It is also not safe to pour them into a sink or storm drain as they can end up in the environment polluting the air, water, or soil.

CFL Bulb Recycling
Because there is a small amount of mercury in CFLs, residents are encouraged to recycle them to prevent mercury from going into landfills. The Borough does not offer recycling for CFL light bulbs, but Home Depot and Lowe’s stores all accept CFLs.

Visit www.earth911.org to identify other local recycling locations. If there are no recycling centers near you and you must put your CFL in the garbage, seal the CFL in two plastic bags. CFLs should not be disposed of in an incinerator.
